Align! (Level II): An 8-week Guided Online Self-Healing Journey

Align! is an intermediate level course designed for those who have already taken Transform! and are seeking a space that supports deeper integration of familiar tools. The practices and tools offered in Align! are designed to help us drop deeper into our physical beings, which in turn allows us to connect with our higher selves.

Walking With Whiteness: Unlearning Who We Thought We Were as a Path to Wholeness

Walking With Whiteness: Unlearning Who We Thought We Were as a Path to Wholeness

White-Bodied Folx:

What would it be like to love yourself unconditionally? To know and bring healing to your ancestral lineage? To feel more connected to the global community as a whole?

This eight month journey is not about learning to be a certain way or say the right thing. It is about knowing what we, as white bodied people, carry in our bodies, consciousness, and nervous systems so that we can deconstruct the pieces that perpetuate division and move toward a more integrated state of being, in ourselves and in the world.

Throughout this program, we'll ask the questions: What is whiteness? What is white supremacy? And how do those of us with Euro-American ancestry come to understand the way it shapes our understanding of ourselves, the world, and each other?

We can’t simply think our way out of these systems—racism is about a policing of bodies, and therefore we have to get into our bodies to understand how these systems and logics are often unconsciously flowing through our daily words, belief systems, thoughts, and actions–despite our best intentions.

Together, we will create a secure container for white-bodied people to heal from the cultural trauma of whiteness on a somatic level, and to engage in the messy, often confusing work of coming to racial consciousness.

This program serves as a form of energetic reparations where white-bodied people are actively choosing to educate ourselves and talk about the hard things with each other in a compassionate, judgment-free learning space, without depending on the emotional labor of BIPOC folx to hold space for our own racial healing.

While none of us are responsible for the conditions and belief systems we are born into as children, as we become adults in the world it does become our responsibility to take accountability for behaviors and belief systems that we know to be unjust.

If you are interested in doing the emotional labor necessary to heal the past, with the support of a small, intimate group and under the guidance of compassionate, skilled facilitators then we invite you to join us in this small, intentional cohort to participate in working towards a more loving, equitable future for all to thrive.

This course consists of:

–8 Modules of Online Content consisting of mini-lectures, readings, viewing, and listenings

–8 Modules of Self-Study Prompts

–Once a month Live Integration Sessions for Discussion and Q&A via Zoom from 4:30pm-6pmET on: 10/23, 11/20, 12/18, 1/22, 2/19, 3/12, 4/16, 5/7

All proceeds to support Laughing River Yoga’s Yoga Equity Project and provide BIPOC scholarships through Transformative Consciousness.

Transform! A 6-Week Online Guided Self-Healing Journey

This 6-week guided self-healing series will bring you into deeper alignment with your authentic self so you can stand in your own sovereignty. It is rooted in the belief that we are our own best healers, and sometimes we just need a little bit of help finding the tools to allow us to continue on our journey.

A respectful blending of Eastern and Western approaches to healing mind, body, and heart, and spirit, we work to release limiting belief systems and blockages that are holding us back from realizing our inner potential and power. We will help you get clear on what you don't want so that you can make more room for what you do want.

This program is intended for those who are tired of self-sabotaging and who are ready to do the heavy lifting that self-healing requires. This includes people who are looking to heal from trauma, those looking to channel their inner power, and anyone wanting to live life more authentically with less fear.

Walking With Whiteness: An Anti-Racism Workshop for White-Bodied People

White-body supremacy is an uncomfortable and undeniable part of our cultural inheritance in the United States at this time. The political unrest surrounding continued police brutality and the devastating effects of the pandemic on low-income BIPOC communities this past year have only amplified this reality. But what exactly is "whiteness"? What exactly do people mean by "structural racism"? And what can white-bodied people do in tangible, daily ways to not perpetuate these inequities?

This 3-hour introductory body-based workshop is intended for white-bodied people who are ready to confront the ways in which whiteness unconsciously informs our thoughts, words, and actions in our relationships and communities. This is a compassionate space intended for white-bodied yogis who are ready to explore some of the internalized fear, shame, and discomfort that can accompany conversations about racial trauma and white-body privilege. This workshop will engage the body, mind, and spirit by beginning with intentional pranayama (breathwork) and mindfulness exercises to center us in our bodies so that we can approach this work from a centered, grounded state. We will then move into lecture and Q&A time to introduce participants to some of the terminology and concepts used to discuss structural racism, while offering compassionate space to ask uncomfortable questions. Participants will be guided into their bodies to somatically explore their embodied fear reactions to discussions of racial trauma, with optional journaling prompts. We will close our time together with some nourishing yoga asana to reset the nervous system. Participants will receive suggested readings and self-study exercises to work with beyond the workshop.

Offering is $44.

Proceeds go to support Najat Croll’s BIPOC build program, Black Girl Builds.

Activating the Rainbow Light Body: A Chakra Balancing Intensive

Activating the Rainbow Light Body: A Chakra Balancing Intensive

This workshop will be held in-person at the Chace Mill. All are welcome, no prior yoga experience is necessary.

“Chakra” loosely translates from the Sanskrit as “wheel of light.” The seven chakras commonly discussed in yoga are by no means the only chakras, but they are the central ones located along the spine. When they are balanced and activated, our inner circuitry is aligned for us to begin the journey inward and to pay more attention to our subtle energy, which activates what some people refer to as our “light body.”

This one-day somatic-based intensive offers a deep-dive into the seven major chakras while guiding participants through body-scanning, visualization, pranayama, asana, and mantra techniques. These somatic tools will be accompanied by an overview of each chakra and their accompanying signs of imbalance to demystify the process of working with these energy centers.

The workshop will culminate in a nourishing, chakra-focused group Biofield Tuning session, a sound balancing modality that uses tuning forks to bring the body back into vibrational alignment. Participants will receive a Chakra Balancing Guide for continued reference to the tools and practices we will be working with throughout the workshop.

This workshop counts as 6 hours towards the 300 Hour Teacher Training Program.

Healing Whiteness: A Donation-Based Distance Tuning Series to Benefit The SUSU Healing Collective's BIPOC Land and Food Sovereignty Fund, Session #3: The Heart Chakra

BLM.jpg

Biofield Tuning is a healing modality that uses tuning forks to bring the body back to its original energetic blueprint.  A form of “consciousness hacking,” the vibration of the forks identifies trauma in the energetic field and sends coherent input to these areas to bring the body back to health on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.

This energetic patterning is largely inherited; it’s in our DNA.  Much of our trauma is passed down through our lineage.  This trauma is both intergenerational and collective.  In Biofield Tuning this is described as the “Ancestral River.”  Included in the Ancestral River is the hatred, bigotry, and prejudice of our lineage.  This includes the inherited collective trauma of white-body supremacy.

Many white bodied people go into fight or flight when talking about white supremacy because of how deeply we have merged with this collective pain body.  There is a fear of having nothing left, or of experiencing an uncomfortable hollowness when realizing that whiteness is a trauma, not an authentic part of our being.  What lives on the other side of this fear of loss is a more authentic, honest, heart-based mode of living that benefits everyone around us--especially BIPOC folx.  When white bodied people in the US willingly reckon with the history of ourselves, our families, and the state sanctioned terror that our bodies have enabled, we begin to release energetic blockages in our bodies, and consequently, in the collective.

This 1-hour donation based distance tuning session is intended for white bodied folx who are ready to heal the deeply inherited energetic blueprint of internalized white supremacy by understanding whiteness as a disease that infests the heart, the mind, and the soul.  This session will focus on the Heart Chakra to thaw the hardened heart that is the inevitable consequence of inherited hate resulting from internalized white-bodied supremacy.  As we clear this energy center we increase our capacity for divine love through lineage clearing prayers, self-forgiveness, and a tonglen meditation. To do this work it is necessary to dive deeply into all points of deflection, defensive, and disengagement to identify inherited coping mechanisms that prevent us from fully loving ourselves and others. Hate cannot live in an awakened heart.

100% of proceeds from this session will go towards the SUSU Healing Collective’s BIPOC Land and Food Sovereignty Fund to purchase land for Black and Brown Vermont farmers.  SUSU is a BIPOC run and focused healing collective based in Brattleboro, Vermont that is grounded in spiritual community and practice.  The collective is committed to creating safer spaces for people to release trauma patterns of white supremacy, oppression, colonization, and westernized disconnection.  Learn more about the SUSU Healing Collective here.

Suggested donation is $20 for the individual session, $50 for the series.

In order to fully do this work we need to fearlessly excavate the unconscious belief systems we have knowingly & unknowingly inherited in order to claim responsibility for these energetic imprints within us.
