Becoming a Collective Griefbearer: A 3-Part Series for Emerging New Earth Leaders
Grief is a necessary expression of fear and loss in relation to changing and challenging times.
In every ancient culture there have been those whose role it was to feel and express grief on behalf of those who could not. In response to widespread westernization and colonialism, many of these ancestral practices have been widely lost.
And yet, there are those of us from all lineages and ancestries who are remembering the ancient ways, who feel them in our bones, and who are called upon to fulfill this role during these transitional times, as we midwife out the outdated systems to make way for more aligned, life-affirming collective futures.
If you are an energetically sensitive person, an integrated empath, a community pillar, an emerging leader, a healer, a therapist, a careworker, heavily feeling the energy of the world at this time, chances are you are being called to fulfill the role of being a collective griefbearer.
In this 3-part evening series we will engage in collective emotional processing, introduce the concept of shadow walking, and engage in pragmatic somatic practices and techniques involved in being a sacred witness.
